Disgusted what a waste I was looking so forward to using these as soon as I got them home and started paired it up to use. I learned that I actually hear better with out my hearing aids then to use this app that's how bad it is. What a waste return your mini teks
Just got it and pure 7mi's works pretty good. Now after an a audogram adjustment. And firmware upgrades. It beeps on every touch of any phone icon and beeps and chsnges programs when near any bluetooth active source even cars pasding by. Yike this is nuts. There was to be some setting to control this. HELP.
It's waste of money
Rhanseen This app is a joke and it is not laughable. Seriously, you use an app instead of the buttons on the mini tech but you have to have the mini tech with you....why would you add another device to control the volume in your hearing aids? WHY not design the app to connect directly to the hearing aids? After all my phone can stream movies it can certainly connect directly to me hearing aids if Semana wanted to. This was just a way to get another $750.00 in revenue. Please give value for my expenditure.
Quite useful It's easier to use this app than to fumble with the Minitek to control my hearing aids because I keep my Minitek beneath my shirt, particularly for dress-up occasions. Instantly available from notification bar - great for dashboard-mounted phone while driving.
An opportunity seriously missed My Siemens hearing aids are considerably smarter than this app. It seems to be about associating a program with a sound source. It doesn't make this clear and is cumbersome in it's implementation. So I can adjust the sound level for each program/sound source I use. Unfortunately the different sound sources themselves are not equally balanced and I end up either adjusting the volume on the source or directly on the miniTek. The opportunity to adjust bass and treble is lost - no adjustments seem to be implemented. But the biggest missed opportunity is in failing to address the biggest weakness of the miniTek. Primarily a streaming device its about getting sound into my ears. And it does this very well. It fails in the other direction, me issuing voice commands to my phone. I can't initiate a call, it gives no help with dictating memos, reminders or text messages. Those are this issues that need addressing, to make the miniTek a serious companion to the smartphone.... which it needs to do because in every other respect it makes a headset such as the incomparable Jawbone ERA redundant.
