Now you can control your fire from anywhere.
The IntelliFire® app makes it possible using your phone or tablet, or by the sound of your voice in your connected home.
You can have a cozy environment greet you when you walk in the door. Then go hands-free with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
With your phone or tablet, you can control on/off, flame height, thermostat, burn time, lights, fan and more. And use your smart speaker to turn on or off the fire.
You will need to have a Wi-Fi module installed to enable smart control of your fire. To learn if your fireplace, insert or stove is compatible or to set up an appointment, contact your local Heat & Glo®, Majestic®, Heatilator®, Quadra-Fire® or Vermont Castings® dealer.

it was a pain to get it connected to the fireplace, now I don't dare change anything. part is my problem with a more complex wifi setup. so give me options. have an advanced button or something. some of the menu selections don't do what I expect. I like to leave the light on with the flame off. setting the flame only goes to "min" why not go to off? it is far better than the included remote!

Installed the wifi module and sometimes it works...but it constantly is disconnecting from my phone so when I need it to work so I can turn the fireplace temperature up before heading to the cabin, it isn't working ..Again. very frustrated with this. I have to reset and reconnect it pretty much every weekend. The app says it added an "Upgrade firmware" option but I don't have this option and don't know if it's been upgraded since it's been installed 4 months ago!

Please do not pay additional for the wifi module. Very disappointed. I paid about $200 and the wifi module is not functioning because the app won't recognize my fireplace. When it does it won't connect. I get a variety of error messages, most of which I see others have written about several months ago. Despite the feedback from the company that these issues have been resolved, they haven't. At the current time, I can't log into the app because of server issues.
