About this game

Brave Hand is a beautifully simple, original single-player card game of luck and skill by designer Scott Brodie. As you play, you unlock the story of the Wanderer and the Guardian, depicted across 16 gorgeous hand-painted themes. An elegant design that combines the simplicity of classic card games like War and Solitaire, and the strategy of collectible card games.

The images are lovely and there are interesting mechanics. Unfortunately, even though strategy and attention improve odds of winning, luck is the biggest factor. I want to see how future iterations evolve. The story elements were intriguing, but over far too soon. I want more detail about the world and the journey, tied more tightly to the game. Dungeon mode was my favourite, because strategy mattered more over multiple rounds.

Stunning looking and playing card game, but if you play frequently enough, the collectathon is over before you know it and there's no longer anything to work towards. You should be able to continue spending gold for other random rewards. Perhaps there could be new card faces, backs and fonts, as well as backgrounds that you can mix and match however you please?

Highly recommend it! Super excited to unlock the third play mode and the rest of the story. Wish I had more time to play it today. I don't understand all of the negative reviews. Literally they don't make sense having played the game. Also not sure why the top rated one has so many likes and no others. Almost seems like it could be from competitors or maybe just an idiot (Men's rights? really...) Anyways huge fan of the art and card game.
