The app urgently need a research features when in your favourites. Plus it should have a better way to view what food is available next week. I am never sure and sometimes miss boxes that I wanted but couldn't see properly in the app and didn't have time to search online on my computer. You are losing money! Make it easier to see next week's food!
I adore HelloFresh itself, and recommend it to everyone. The app, however, is sort of glitchy. It works well enough for selecting your food each week, I guess, but for anything else, it kind of sucks. I'll favorite something, but that won't show up until I exit the app and come back. When I share recipes, the links frequently don't work. When I am reading a blog post, if I get a phone call, when I come back to the app, about half the time the blog post is gone and cannot be found. There are also a bunch of features missing that would be super helpful.
I keep getting "server error - try back later." I've tried uninstalling, etc. Still same error. All my other apps are working, so it is your server,. Very frustrating for a brand-new user.
HelloFresh is an absolute joke. The first time my wife ordered food, she specifically mentioned not to leave the food at her office unattended, which is exactly what happened and the food was warm when my wife picked it up the following day. Then they told my wife that they'll give her the next box free of charge, but we still paid for the first box with warm chicken and other meat. The second time they delivered the food, my wife specifically mentioned in the note section of the order not to deliver the food at the main office in our apartment complex and to leave the food by our door, which they didn't read as they dropped the food at the main office that closes before either of us return from work. So, once again we paid for food that we didn't receive and we're probably not going to be able to eat it. Also, when we called to complain about this issue, David who works as a call center representative for HelloFresh said that they're nothing that can be done as they have nothing to do with the driver and some other bs! I wouldn't recommend Hellofresh to my worst enemy!!!!!
$40 off first week with code KAITLYNRHE. I first ordered Hello Fresh with the intention of just "trying it out". Now, I can't imagine going back. Forget meal planning, just choose what yummy recipes you want with the app! You can also skip weeks or change the number of recipes you want that week. The meals are delivered to your door and the ingredients are really fresh. I have actually developed a love for cooking through Hello Fresh. You should definitely give it a try. You won't regret it!
The app works fine, but the service is horrible. We recieved 3 shipments from them, and each one would have one piece of produce (say a tomato) that was extremely ripe, and needed to be used that day, and an avocado that was rock hard and would take a week to ripen. By the time the avocado is ripe, the tomato is rotten. Customer service called and tried to get me to sign back up, and offered me a whole $30 discount on a box. I had to tell the guy 5 times I wasn't interested in resubscribing. Yeah, no thanks. I want my money back, but I'm not expecting that to happen. Definitely recommend avoiding them.
