I am frustrated at the choice to change this app to a subscription model, even with a year of free service for people who paid for the app previously. Additionally, some of my favorite features have been removed (symbols are only linked to individual cards now whereas before there were also symbols across the whole reading). The app is cleaner looking and has more spreads, which some people may like, but I am still sad.

The resolution setting fixed the layout. I'm still not a fan of the new font and layout. The old layout look more classy and clean so why ditch that? Also, it's disappointing that you removed the crystals, runes, and IChing to your users' dismay. You took away the assets of the app that differentiated yours from other apps. I don't mind the ads even though they're disruptive. As for subscription model, the app no longer stood out to me to justify the price point

The update is clunky, the cards have a weird delay when they flip. They made superficial changes to make it seem like the app needs regular updates to necessitate the new subscription fee and TONS of ads. I've used this app a lot since 2018. I bought the old one. It was perfect. This app was used daily, it was a companion to me, it taught me a lot. It's the end of an era just for greed. I'd gladly pay $20-$30 once, but I just don't need another subscription.
