Welcome to the new HERE WeGo!

HERE WeGo is a free navigation app that guides local and global travelers on journeys both familiar and foreign. The app now has a fresh, new design and clearer, easier to use navigation.

Enjoy a more carefree journey and reach your destination effortlessly, however you need to get there. Get there on foot with easy-to-follow walk guidance. Take public transport in more than 1,900 cities around the world. Or use turn-by-turn voice guidance with accurate driving directions and go by car. You can even find parking at your destination and get guided directly to it.

Visit the same places often? Save them in a collection to stay organised and find them easier. Or use shortcuts to get directions to them in one click

Need to make an extra stop or want to go a specific way? Simply add waypoints to your routes and HERE WeGo guides you there.

Want to save your mobile data and stay on course even without an internet connection when travelling? Download a map of a region, country or continent and complete your journey while staying totally offline.

Ratings and reviews

Surpringly good with public transit, often with unexpected choices. (Haven't used it with public transit in awhile. Mar '23) Use it with downloaded maps, which allow it to be used offline. (Am notified of the availability of new maps.) Predicted route time tends to be more optimistic than Waze. The optional 3D spatial audio setting will use stereo to "move" you in the right direction for lane changes.

Disappointing in Android Auto. I was really hoping this app could replace the Android default but its not even close. Glitchy, causes Android Auto to freeze and even shutdown in mid use. Using the app settings in Android Auto usually freezes the app. Most annoying is lack of an ability to use heading up unless you are in a route. Another problem, if not in a route the default zoom setting (~100 feet), you can zoom out (full screen only) for a few seconds then it resets to the default.

Awesome app. They don't take your data and it has many cool features that other private GPS apps have. The problem is Google has the best features but it's not so private. I found this to be the best option besides Google. I've tried 6 other apps that weren't as user friendly or as accurate with the locations like this one. Has good "other route" options as well as avoiding traffic if you choose. Most apps don't actually give you a legitimate decent route. Hands down best GPS other than google.
