MAPS.ME shows a lot more detail without the need for the Internet, why can't you. The route looks like it's being viewed from a helicopter. It's too high / far out. The road may be twisty, but the route looks straight because it's too far away. You can't even see side roads and junctions because of this problem. Could you fix this to the same scale as a TomTom or Garmin. Thanks in advance.
A good app. But, back to Google maps. After updates, SD CARD storage option bombs the app. It totally freezes. Had to reboot. Well, back to Google maps. I like Windows phone 8.1 version better. The voice guide (us, street name) is much more humanistic than Android version. I kept an Windows phone just to use the app.
I used to recommend this app over Google Maps, but I'm hesitant about doing the same these days. I'm sure that you could request updates to stored maps so as to ensure that you were looking at the latest data, but this has disappeared, which means that the live mapping is up to date, but offline isn't. How do you know that you're looking at current information offline?
A lot of crashes occurred recently. First I couldn't start any route cos' crash was making an app stop. Reinstalled I am not able to choose external memory as default or download a new voice. This makes this app quite useless.
It would be perfect if the collection between the online and the mobile app is sync properly both ways (it was sync first time only once) . Update Cached Map doesn't seem to work. It always fails at 77% and retry doesn't work either. Retry fails straight away.
the only reason I am taking 2 stars of the rating is cuz everytime the app updates, the voice command re-enables itself. it's exhausting I want my settings exactly left untouched. also searching for destinations isn't as accurate as Google maps. apart from those 2 points this app is flawless.
