Excellent game. True to the Games Workshop 40k universe and one of the few such games that captures the spirit of the dark future it portrays. The graphics are outstanding, the controls intuitive, the difficulty just right to keep the game chalenging but winnable throughout. It is free to play, but you do not have to pay to win: it is perfectly possible to complete the game and excel in multiplayer without spending a single penny. Finally, developers are excellent, they keep supporting this game with regular updates and are quick to answer any queries.
AMAZING this is one game that does it right. It has a cash shop but does not shove it in your face. The only thing you can buy is in-game money that you get just from playing the game. It dose not have the stupid energy system most other app games have. Combat is smooth and challenging the more you play. With pve, pvp and challenges it will entertain you for a long time 10 out of 10.
Tabletop fans, give it a try. Story campaign plays smooth and difficulty rises steadily. Graphics are pleasant and the interface is user-friendly. Deck management needs improvements, e.g. save and restore functions. Biggest plus: PvP matches you online against human brains, instead an easily overcomed AI. Different battlegrounds and winning conditions would make the competition even more interesting. Its good that ad-watching for free credits has been integrated. New interface is less functional than before update suggest to return to prior version!!! It's not always about big icons & pictures..
Plays a lot like Space Hulk or Templar Assault (Android Space Hulk). The decisions to make about the tradeoffs of speed/power/effectiveness in the deckbuilding side of it are a good design. This also appears to be a rare bird: a good game with "get there faster" IAP instead of the usual paywall "pay to play" problem. I never expected to see a Games Workshop product that didn't go straight for the wallet with a knife.
Great game. Everything top notch except the enemy AI a little to intelligent. Npcs are always just far enough away to not be in range of one action point, forcing you to use two AP to take one shot. Also ambush doesnt work.
The game freeze between turns and waiting to equip characters. I guess it's the bad internet connection (no WiFi) and it's loosing connection to the server. Horrible for a single player game like this. A restart of the game often restores connection to the server and lets me continue. Sometimes.
This version also includes some minor fixes and improvements made by the Iron Priests of the Space Wolves Chapter.
