Ratings and reviews

Updating my review to three stars for now. For five months, the app wouldn't allow me to login, but using the website was fine. I emailed them a third time a few weeks ago about the problem again. In the past two weeks, two updates were pushed out. The one I got today finally fixed the problem. I'm now able to login again, and could see my current rental.

Well yet another month has gone by and the Hertz app team STILL hasn't fixed the repeated login issues with the app, despite negative reviews from a multitude of users about the inability simply login to the app. I haven't been able to login to the app in over 6 MONTHS despite using correct login credentials. No issues with the web login, but apps keeps saying "We are experiencing service issues, please try again later" error message for over 6 MONTHS now. FIX THE APP!!!!

This app is broken and inefficient. It could never find my reservation under my account despite logging in. Every time I pulled up my reservation by code, I had to enter the code twice on two slightly different screens back to back. "Find my rental" then "Search rentals", every time. Then I would get emails to confirm, to select my car the day before pickup, none of the email links actually work in the app. The emails claimed I could skip the counter, but in the end I had to wait in line. Fail.
