Ratings and reviews

Of all the apps I must use on a regular basis, this one is the worst. It doesn't keep you logged in over time - even if it looks like you are, you often have to type in your password again. Selecting rental dates can be a futile experience - sometimes just keeps the dates from the last rental no matter how many times you change it. Also doesn't seem to like using the rewards points either, even if you have enough to redeem. Pricing can also be misleading. This app needs a major overhaul!

Bait & Switch pricing. It shows you one price then when you go to check out, the price has increased because of taxes. In the past your "Est Total" was the same as your "Final Total" taxes included. Also the app always has bugs which is frustrating. Not being able to search locations by Zip Code instead of the city is annoying because there are a bunch of cities with the same names in different states & countries. Also having to log-in every single time you use the app is even more annoying.

Absolutely horrible. 1) Half the time it gives a "something went wrong, try again later" message. 2) App does not retain your pickup time. If you change the dropoff time, it changes the pickup time to noon. So when you show up, you get to deal with the absolutely ridiculously incompetent Hertz office people instead of the generally decent Gold service. 3) It also logs you out after about 2 minutes of inactivity, so you are having to log in every few minutes if you are exploring your options.
