Role Model Developers. State of Art Software. Light at both sides: Screen & LED. Clear & stylish interface. Widget included. Tiny in memory & RAM. No ads. No sneaky permissions or spyware. No facebook stupidity. Well, the evidence is overwhelming, this app meets everything that a high quality torch should have: functionality, size, design & privacy. The developer is very smart & talented. This app features same quality like Titanium Backup, AdAway, Greenify, SD Maid, AutoStarts, XPrivacy, Trimmer, etc. Now to everybody: don't install spyware, respect and protect yourself. Looking for light? accept no less than the top notch: White Light Flashlight.
This is by far the best flashlight app available for Android. Only one permission (camera) which is needed for the app to work. Zero unnecessary permissions or ads. This app is perfect.. Great job dev! Miss the old app icon but big deal.. It doesn't affect the usability and I know the trend is more towards flat design now. But as far as a flashlight app goes, it doesn't get any better than this.
I think this is the best torch Hunted for quite a while before I found this little gem. It is a simple torch using the camera's flash. Once you have set your preferences and then installed the widget on your home screen, one tap and you have a torch, another tap and it's off. Simples!
Best Flashlight app No ads and can have flashlight icon stay available in swipe down menu as well as app icon for a screen flashlight make this the best one I've used. Simple, accessible, gets the job done, and I don't mistakenly tap an ad. Light will also stay on when screen is off.
Simple, but widget size is too large Does what it says but bulky widget takes lot of screen real estate. Can't resize it down. Thus giving only two stars.
Stopped working after first use. Completely stopped working after the first use. Now just freezes for several seconds and always says "Can't connect to the camera." This is on a Moto G running Lollipop 5.1. I hope you can fix it. This would be an awesome app/widget if it worked.
Version 2.0.1 - 2.0.3:
• Increased compatibility
• Bug fixes
• A notification is shown that allows you to turn on the light. This can be set to always visible, never visible, or only visible at the lock screen. This requires a new permission (start when Android starts) to show the notification as soon as your phone turns on, before you open the app.
• Setting to disable shutting off the light when the screen turns off
• Theme support
• Support for several new languages
