TRIPS – Carpooling Made Simple Through a Flexible Platform

TRIPS is a seamless and secure carpooling platform designed to make ridesharing easy for both passengers and drivers. The platform complements existing mobility services and is launched in collaboration with public transport companies in Norway.

How does it work?

For Passengers:
1. Find a ride and a driver heading in the same direction.
2. Reserve a seat for all or part of the journey.
3. Show up at the agreed time and location. You can track the driver’s location in our map function.
4. Enjoy the ride—either in silence or by getting to know your fellow passengers.
5. After the trip, leave a rating that is visible to all users.

For Drivers:
1. Offer a ride based on your planned Receive and accept passenger requests.
2. Pick up passengers at the agreed time and location. You can easily contact your passengers.
3. Enjoy the trip and leave a rating for your passengers afterward.
4. Receive compensation based on the distance traveled and the number of passengers.


Ride Together, Save Together
Carpooling is a flexible alternative to traditional public transport—save time by getting a ride when and where you need it. The service is free for passengers, while drivers receive compensation to cover their travel costs.
Easy Trip Planning

The platform’s user-friendly interface makes it easy for passengers to find relevant rides or for drivers to create trips based on their planned journeys. Everything is managed through the platform, from booking to communication. A login solution via Vipps ensures verified user identities.
