The app is great and seems to work on my old Galaxy S3. However, with my LG G3, barely any of the songs play. The app is trying to load the song, but nothing comes through the line, then the app freezes when i try to stop it 'trying'. I love your playlists, and i used to listen to them all the time, but since upgrading my phone recently, i can't anymore. Please fix this issue.... it appears i'm not the only one struggling with the app not playing properly.

Needs Improvement Hillydilly does music well, this I'm not disputing. But going through the intro screens everytime if I don't login with Facebook (seriously? No Google?) is incredibly annoying. The lack of Google Cast support is also disappointing.

Great music!! I was so excited to find out hillydilly made an app. The music is awesome, but whenever I try to make a playlist it says "an error has occurred". It's a little frustrating. Also, more than a few songs do not play. Other than these few complaints, the app is fantastic! I love how I can listen to hillydilly on my long commute to school, or when I'm doing my homework. :-)

I love the hilly dilly music and Playlists which is the only reason i still have the app installed. But the app is horrible on my GS7. It barely plays any of the songs and the songs that do play take for ever to load. Garbage app but good music service.

Still good I had this before but needs to uninstall. Something's missing with the app. Maybe I'll reinstall again if I'll get bored. Anyway there were lots of great music here.

The fault in our Android I would have given it 4 stars if it didn't crash so much. Every time I open it, it crashes and then I have to reopen it again for it to work. However on my sister's iPhone, it never crashes. Not only that but on Android we can't read the articles, only on iPhone you can and that really bums me out because I want to know about the artist or song.

You can create an account for Hillydilly. No need to use Facebook, if you are not comfortable with that :) Great music!! I was so excited to find out hillydilly made an app. The music is awesome, but whenever I try to make a playlist it says "an error has occurred". It's a little frustrating. You can read the articles on Android, too. Long click on any track and then select 'Read Post' :)
About the crashes on startup: We have figured out the problem and are working on a fix. We are working on an update before the end of September. Very limited library, no albums (at least for my favorite artists), limited singles, constant errors ruin your music experience. But does have potentially to be a vary reliable music platform.
Love the site, but the app not so much I'm struggling to get playlists to play, certain songs refuse to play, others seem fine, I get maybe 2 songs in a row working, then it just stops and I have to skip that track, both on Wifi and 4G
Song unavailable I get pretty often a message saying the song i'm trying to play is unavailable. Is this because it's not available in Belgium or why is this? I can't play 90% of the songs.

Our tracks are hosted via Soundcloud. If a song gets removed on Soundcloud, we sadly cannot stream it anymore :( Love it but can't sign in with fb It says error occurred every time I try it says please try again later....

we are currently working on this problem.
Is it possible that you already created an account on our website with the same email that you are registered with on facebook? If so, you will need to log in with your email and password like you do on our website. Attractive design but Just like the mobile site the app gets a fraction of the songs available on the desktop site so I'll continue using that
Doesn't work While I love the music that they discover, the app started to crash right after it was installed, which was disappointing, to say the least.

Crashes frequently and many songs "unavailable." And the selection is 99% Amateur hour. 'sigh'

Sadly we cannot help with the availability of songs as they are hosted via soundcloud. Hillydilly playlists r wonderful Intro to great indie/world music. So glad to have app on new Samsung 7!!!
I love it! Accidentally found it while browsing on Google. Had to check out the apl and it works for me. :) I love the simplicity of it. Very easy to use.
Favourite music app I always find the best tracks on this app. There are new songs every time I check back. Fantastic

Nice app and great music Sometimes crashes, music loads super slow and heart button doesn't always work, but overall very nice and pretty app. It would be even better if you could see the current track's artwork on lock screen. Music quality is really good. This app really makes me happy. It's such a nice to see that some developers still care more about users than money they make. It's ad free app which make me even more happier and I hope it will always stay like this. Thanks a lot! I wish more streaming apps would be like this.

we will fix the performance issues and crashes soon! HillyDilly is the highest quality music curation I've found. Their website is incredibly intuitive with a beautiful UI. They also crafted a fantastic Mobile site, but does run into issues since it's not fully connected with all Android has to offer. This app fixes that, fully integrate into phones UI. A must have for music lovers.
Best Music Discovery App This app has replaced most of my other music apps, that's how much I like it. I'd just hope they would update playlists a little more often and with more variety. Also, a sleep timer/ music auto off feature would be amazing!
Do get this. Always been a fan of the site but I find the mobile version of site crashy to use sometimes.
