NOT A GOVERNMENT APP. FlightFinder is an independent app made by HiMaxym. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by, or representing the NTSB, the FAA, NASA, or any other government entity or agency. It does not provide or facilitate any government service.
FlightFinder is an independent reference app for publicly available aircraft accident and incident reports. We republish records that investigators have already made public, and link each entry back to the report it came from.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Flight check: aircraft type, fleet age and past reports for a specific flight
• Accidents near you: investigated occurrences around your current location (location optional, used only for this)
• Safety desk: searchable accident and incident records, 1902 to 2026
• Aircraft, airline and airport profiles
• Wildlife strikes, laser strikes, runway incursions and drone sightings
• On-time performance and fleet age by airline
• Turbulence forecast map, live emergencies and aviation news

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
It does not predict crashes and it does not rank airlines by danger. Reporting practices differ between countries, operators and decades, so counts reflect what was reported, not everything that happened. Where that distinction changes how a number should be read, the page says so.
Accounts are optional. Sign in to watch an airline and be alerted when a new occurrence is filed against it. Pro subscriptions are billed on himaxym.com, not as an in-app purchase in this release. Location is used only when you open Accidents near me and grant permission. We do not sell your data.
FlightFinder is not a government entity and does not represent one.
