App wont let me create and save any recipes automatically or manually. I have emailed support three times with a full description of the problem and have heard nothing back. I have had this PAID app for a few years with no problems at all until a few months ago, what is going on and why will no one return my emails? At the moment the purpose of the app is useless to me and I'm back yo screenshots.
Nice app but could better Need pricing support for shopping list then would be everything I could ask for. On a side note, when you select All Recipes from the supported import sites menu, it never fully loads. This only seems to be a problem when using this app. Their website loads fine in chrome.
Basics work, but no support and broken sync Working with recipes is just fine. But forget about ever getting answers from support. Initial sync of recipes works, but updates to recipes are not reliably synchronized. And why does PDF generation support DIN A sizes on one device and not the other? And why is there a working e-mail recipe function on one system, but on the next one it refuses to create e-mails?
By far the best recipe app I've encountered. Would recommend, and have. I wasn't very happy about having to purchase it without a trial though. Export is not working on Marshmallow. There are some points needing attention. A multiple tag search would be a good feature. The UI could be made simpler & more intuitive - in the recipe edit mode there's a "Change" button next to each field, whilst the easiest would be just to tap the field. Maybe it's just me but I'm so used to tapping the thing I want to edit that I don't even see the buttons first, even though I KNOW they're there. I also often miss to click the Save button before I exit, being so used to autosave in other apps. I'd rather have that and a discreet prompt "Changes saved - Undo?" There's also a bug while editing an existing recipe - you can't copy-paste content in ingredients or directions. Everything must be typed in and it's obviously quite frustrating. What would make this a 6-star app would be calculated macro values. Oh my goodness that would be so sweet! Myfitnesspal sync would be great, too, but primarily I'd just love to see the macros in Paprika.
Sync Between iOS / Android Needs Help To the developer: please implement push updates between android and iOS so that changes to groceries list is automatic. The "Our Groceries" app does this much better. Would change review to 5 stars if this were implemented.
Good for recipes, other features need work The app does well for collecting and managing recipes, but I find the groceries and meal planning cumbersome. It needs some UI/UX love.
- Added support for printing recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans. (Requires Android 4.4 KitKat or later.)
- Added support for exporting recipes to HTML or Paprika’s recipe format for sharing with others.
