suddenly updated and now no longer controls devices properly. settings revert and do not stay as set. really quite annoying. beginning to regret purchasing a smart device from this brand. Edit: it's the end of 2025 and I do regret this service completely. The app will set the air conditioner to high, then immideately switch to auto. Complete junk. Don't recommend at all. 0 stars.

I installed the app that was recommended in the manual for my hisense ac. The app would cause all sorts of problems. Instead of standby, it would turn off. When I turned it back on, the vent wouldn't open, or it would turn on, then back off. I would hand to unplug the unit for a few minutes to do a reset. Without the app, the ac works fine. Fix the software.

The good is it let's you control your appliances remotely. The bad is automations don't work correctly with my Hisense AC. Temperature automation only functions at certain temperatures, despite the AC unit itself correctly detecting the room temp. For example, the AC will only turn off at 64, 68, 72. Temps in between do not work. If I set 66 in app it will run past and below 66. Certain temperatures are also unavailable in the app. Like 65, 67, 69, 71, 74, 76, 78. It makes little sense.
