Great but needs more development A great tool and example of AR. The orientation is a bit glitchy - needs some work to tweak elevation especially, maybe a calibration option or calibration override setting. Zoom out would be handy too. Someone should resurrect this project and pump some more life into it, especially now that the new buildings are popping up.
Christchurch Gone Sad reminder of all we have lost. Great use of tech.
Good idea... But was almost completely useless when I went to use it. The piece I most wanted was to hold up phone and see image of what buildings use to be there - I had it work once the entire time I was walking the opened up route to the square!
amazing insights on a number of levels Hi Thanks for this fantastic app. Works great on my Desire HD. I'm in Sydney but was able to fake the position (great feature). Great to see real world useful applications for AR. AR has a bright future with geo aware developers like yourselves. . I love that you have focussed on the past with a tragic event such as the earth quake and this obviously opens the pathway to use this tech for future development visualisation. Visions of virtual time travel. We just need the 3D to populate. Congratulations
Awesome Great work, hitlab! Will be amazing to use this app in years to come
