Rough, but has potential The look and interface need to be polished, it looks a little unprofessional. My biggest concern is the complete lack of well known artists, and the very limited selection in general. The bubble concept is really cool though. Overall, I think this app is headed in the right direction and has fresh, intresting, and alluring concept, but it has a long way to go, especially in the artist library department.
Resource hog? Not at all. I've been using this app 5-10 hours a week; current memory use is 13.11MB, which is typical. That's quite acceptable. The facebook app, for comparison, is sitting at 41.5MB, and it often gets into the 50s. The UI is novel but not obtrusive, making for an enjoyable way to discover new bands.
Glitchy. HTC Evo 4G Like someone said before me great concept, but it keeps glitching and freezing on me. Literally just now i got an "unknown media error" message and was bugging out my phone. Had to force stop. Not sure if i still want to use it.
Won't connect to Facebook It's rather annoying to create an account and then be told to create a new one connected to Facebook in order to actually do anything. It's much more annoying when you can't create an account linked to Facebook because it just errors. Countless other applications link to Facebook with no problems at all so I guess very little testing went into this.
First off I have to say please ignore the one star reviews for people who say they can't find any "popular" artists or they don't like the music they hear. The whole point behind this app is to discover your new favorite artist, not to find Lady Gaga songs. This is a fabulous app that is a spectacularly devised way of navigating a database of music. There is a majority of artists that are from Finland but there's nothing wrong with that, just noticing. One disappointment is the developer has not updated the app since 2011. Give this app a spin if you are the type of person who likes to discover new music from unknown artists. If you are looking for your favorite top forty, played on the radio tunes, I can guarantee you this app is not for you.
cumbersome resource hog. Run on a Samsung Galaxy Player 5; sucked up power till the device was crawling. UI is beautiful, but too cumbersome to navigate; trying to go from one song to another I couldnt get the first to stop playing & ended up with both playing instead. The concept is great, it just didnt work for me.
