The Transport Department's “HKeMobility” mobile application is an all-in-one platform providing traffic & transport information, facilitating the public to conduct searches for public transport, driving and walking routes, obtain real-time traffic and parking information, and personalise message settings.

Key features of “HKeMobility” -
1. Driving information, including:
(i) Driving route search; (ii) Real-time parking vacancy information; and (iii) Real-time traffic news, such as the latest traffic conditions, traffic incidents and special traffic & transport arrangements.

2. Public transport information, including:
(i) Most optimal point-to-point public transport and walking routes; (ii) Schedules, fares and estimated arrival times of different public transport routes; and (iii) Real-time waiting situation and traffic & public transport at boundary control points.

3. Personalised settings, including:
(i) My Bookmark - Customise favourite locations, public transport and driving routes; and (ii) Push Notification of traffic news - Customise message categories and regions to receive traffic news, and add commonly used traffic snapshots, speed map panels and journey time indicators to bookmark.

It offers route searches for public transport, driving, and walking, making it a versatile choice for any journey . A standout feature is the real-time information, including traffic snapshots, parking vacancy, and estimated arrival times for buses, which takes the guesswork. Highly recommended!!!!

Edit: at this point the app can't even find an IKEA shop in the search anymore. --- It used to be simple and very straightforward, and I used it a lot. Now the app has become very confusing and not very user friendly. Unfortunately I have to say that the changes made me prefer using multiple alternative apps to find routes, rather than struggling to figure out the logic of this app.

I seldom rate any application but the user interface is so bad designed that it deserves to be said This is one of the worst applications I have ever seen The interface is NOT user friendly, neither intuitive, and in addition, when you manage to get to the information you need the time schedule ia not there!!! So what is the point of this app???
