Pucha galing nito pero.. Just a bit too fast for learners of this language. All i knew is that Pucha is a swear word but never thought it can be translated as damn. This is also not pure Tagalog but TagLish (tagalog-english). Goodbye is usually translated as "Paalam [po]" or "O sige [po], paalam". Formalities like "Po" & "Opo" are missing in the Basics. It is essential good manners when speaking to elders/superiors.
Good Job! I think it is ok to say dollars or business cards coz in some ways that is how we filipinos talk. It is easier like that we really don't say tarheta or mabuhay we usually say calling card or business card and hello is the best way to interact when meeting with someone. Just saying. Good job for this. My kids are enjoying it.
Filipina Google User This is an awesome idea. I was once able to speak Tagalog fluently however, it is difficult to hold onto it when you have no one to converse with regularly. It saddens me that I am unable to pass this aspect of my culture onto my children. I installed this app hoping they could learn even just a little of it. Is there any way to make personal translations available? Something like a search bar where you can type a sentence in English and it will translate into Tagalog? That would be amazing!
Good enough.. I was born and raised in the Philippines and i downloaded this just to check it out..Pronounciation was really good though some of the words or phrases could have been translated differently..and the taglish translations were ok because hearing someone speak the direct tagalog translations for some of it would be funny...just a bit more common phrases used in PI would help though...other than that its a good tool for basic learners..
Pure Filipina User I'm a pure filipina and I downloaded this app to test myself if I still remember my own language. It's a good app but some of it are not translated correctly and most of it are taglish. I can't blame them though because English in Philippines is like our own language, too. We use it very often especially in school. I hope this feedback can help others to understand why other phrases are translated in Taglish :))
Good but missing the full version I searched for the full version but I'm unable to find it. When I used the free app I went to the playstore and I can't find the full version. Please fix this error and then I will give the 5 start rating
