I upgraded my Samsung to an S8 and now I can't turn any of our TV's on or off from the app. Even more annoying is that several times a week the app won't open on any of our devices and comes up with the comment "waiting for an available viewer licence" even when no one else is using it. Please advise what we need to do to fix this.
This comment is for the Elan 8, which is the only one I have experience with. The app seems to work ok on my Samsung S8+, with being able to control my media in multiple rooms and with my home security system. The one thing that is very annoying is the keypad capability to control my AT&T Uverse. The Elan 8 only allows up to 3 digits to be typed in, but all the HD channels on Uverse start at 1004, which obviously has 4 digits, so I can't manually input any HD channels on the keypad. Please fix this issue.
My installer has a iPhone and when we both test certain functions, it doesn't work on Android. I have a S8 and when my doorbell rings, it doesn't send a notification, and I have ticked all settings under apps etc. It takes so long to connect to the local network, the iPhone is instant. Bit disappointed for Android users. But Elan as a control for my home is a solid system. Just wish it would work better on Android
