First Responder – Polish First Responder System
First Responder (1R) is a mobile app that supports the rescue system by quickly connecting people in need of help with trained volunteers located near the incident. The solution shortens response times in life-threatening situations, allowing action to be taken before emergency medical teams arrive.

Why time matters
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) requires immediate response.
– Tens of thousands of SCA cases occur in Poland every year.
– After a few minutes without assistance, the risk of irreversible brain damage increases.
– Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an AED significantly increase the chances of survival.
Who can become a First Responder?
The system is open to individuals with first aid training, in particular:
– physicians
– paramedics
– nurses
– KPP paramedics
– firefighters, volunteer fire department paramedics, and uniformed services officers
– individuals who have completed first aid courses in accordance with current guidelines.
Security and Privacy

IMPORTANT NOTICE – APPLICATION OPERATION MODE
The Pierwszy Ratownik (First Rescuer) app is fully functional – any report can be responded to by nearby rescuers, allowing for rapid assistance.
Therefore, the following testing rules apply:
For tests, only the "Other" option should be used.
The report description must include:
"TEST – [brief description of the test]"
This is to clearly distinguish test reports from actual reports and prevent unnecessary rescue operations.
Test reports not marked as "TEST" will be treated as actual incidents.
