At least every other time I open the app, it shows the welcome screen and asks if I want to set up or program the app. I choose "Don't Show Again," but it still continues. It also is slow to open and update changes I make. Update 12-16-24 The app has been working much better. It has begun telling me it is a "planned maintenance schedule" with a start and end time for the exact minute I open it, but I click ok, and it goes away and doesn't affect anything.

After working perfectly for the first 3 years, this app is now fickle. Consistently going offline for no apparent reason...followed all protocol to reestablish connection to no avail. This happens on a very regular basis. Not an Internet/router issue as all other devices/apps are connected. We spend WAY too much time trying to figure this out. Frustrating.

This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.
