This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.

For those that may experience issues with the app constantly showing offline, you can try to uninstall and then reinstall it. This seems to have resolved my issue. Once I reinstalled it, I was able to just click Sign In and enter my email (thankfully my phone auto saved my password). There will be a couple of default options that you need to answer and once you get past those, hopefully you should see the arrows that allow you to adjust the temperature and the Offline message should be gone.

I am disabled. we got this thermostat so I don't have to go up and down the stairs to adjust it. It worked fine until the last 2 weeks, but lately the app is constantly saying offline, and even when it doesn't, it's not correct. I manually set my thermostat to cool to 68 before bed and in the morning, the app STILL says it's heating to 68, even though the thermostat is on cooling. IDK what they've done to mess the app up recently, but they need to fix it! This is an accessibility issue!
