Update: I got a new router and the app was not working. I ended up having to uninstall then reinstall the thermostat which made me reconfigure the thermostat. And now the geofencing doesn't work. First I stopped getting notifications then realized it just wasn't working and no matter what I do including making sure that it's always running in the background and the location is on. It just won't work. Using Android.

Residio is a very user-friendly experience. I was switching from an iPhone to an Android phone and the process was so easy. It was no headache at all. I love being able to control the temperature in my house w/ my phone. I like how I can set the temperature from anywhere I go so that when I return home my house is at a perfect temperature. I definitely recommend this to anybody who wants an extremely simple app. The customer service was prompt, friendly and extremely helpful. Five stars!!

The Geofence feature first worked for me but it doesn't work anymore. It doesn't follow my schedule and cannot tell if somebody is home or away. I've been home all night tonight, and the app says that there's nobody home. UPDATE: I un-installed and reinstalled the app which prompted me to update my phone's location settings and the Geofence began working right away. The help section of the app only seems to address thermostat problems and doesn't mention problems with the app.
