This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.

Just got my thermostat installed about a month ago. I am constantly getting a system offline message in the app. I delete the app and install and still have the same issue. I get it connected by restarting the wifi and it will work fine for a couple of seconds and then go back offline. I know its not an internet issue because everything else in the house works on the wifi.

Lately app often tells you "no internet is available" either as you launch it on Android phone or sometimes in the middle of looking at various thermostats... that error will pop up. Usually goes away within few seconds. Occurs despite strong Wi-Fi and cellular signal. This is unrelated to whether an individual t'stat has Wi-Fi connection or not, which is a different "offline" notice and which is very useful for determining whether a vacation house lost internet. App could use overall update.
