There's a bug that allows kids to easily bypass the app time lock. Emailed the developers but never heard back from them. If you have an app that can only be used at a certain time. During the block, go to the app switcher and select the blocked app, at this point luna throws you out of the app and sends you back to the homescreen. The problem is that if you go back to the app switcher and select the app again, you bypass the lock completely and can use the banned app.
To easy to bypass. Both of my kids bypassed this by accident right after they got it. I know it wasn't from experience as they had just seen it fit the first time. I went away fit a couple week trip and find one device had this launcher uninstalled the other it was totally disabled.
App lasted about a week before my 4 year old knew how to switch out of kids mode to get her favourite YouTube kids
It's good but can be better. (I love it though) If the parent doesn't close out his/her apps the child can access them by hitting the recents button. No way to stop them from accessing the play store. Let's say there's a link/ad to install an app on the YouTube app the child can install the app. Is there a way to lock the app store in child mode? If there is, I missed it. Also, how about an option to unlock the status bar upon leaving child mode because if you don't unlock the status bar it remains locked after exiting child mode back to parent mode.
