ATTENTION: online services for Railroad Ink Challenge are temporarily suspended starting September 30th because our provider GameSparks is ceasing operation. In Railroad Ink Challenge, you have 7 rounds to make as many points as possible. Roll the dice and draw the routes to connect the exits around your board. Expand your network with railways, highways, and stations to collect points, but you will be penalized for any open connections, so plan carefully! Play solo to improve your best score, or challenge players from all over the world!

HOW TO PLAY

Each round you will have to roll the dice and use the available routes to build your transportation network and connect as many exits as possible. Expand your network to collect points. You’ll also score bonus points for your longest highway and railway, for building into the central spaces of your map, and for completing optional, time-dependent goals before they expire.
You can also connect special structures to your network to trigger their special effects, such as duplicating routes, unlocking powerful special routes, and more. But beware: Try to not leave any open connections, as each one will cost you points at the end of the game.

EXPANSIONS

Forest and Desert expansions add special dice and rules to create even more intricate landscapes for your highways and railways.

Play solo with random objectives and join the online rankings or challenge players from all over the world with custom game configurations! The online leaderboards (Daily, Monthly, and All-Time) are completely cross-platform!

Who’s gonna get the best score?

This digital adaption is amazing! Desert and Forests expansions made it even more incredible. Looking forward to the rest of the expansions. I'll buy them day one. Update: Developers are in the middle of switching cloud/server services. Until completed, you CANNOT create an account, there is no daily challenge, and achievements are unachievable. You CAN still play the game and all it's single player content and dlc. Update#2: abandon ware. Devs never restored servers.

Abandoned by developers - it was a great game with so many features, but when they had to switch to a new server situation, they never did. I paid for a lot of content to be able to play with friends far away and now all that online functionality is completely gone. It's been at least four months without any kind of update, I think longer since we had the full game experience.

I own the physical version of this game as well. This is a fantastic implementation of that same game. However the tutorial is broken and we can't proceed past placing the first railroad, i had to pull out the physical manual to help teach it. Also, every time I start the app is stays loading on a white screen, I need to hit back 3 times and then I'm allowed to play but only in offline mode. This app needs some work it's one of the best board game apps visually and mechanically.
