About this app

The objective is to provide visitors to a park or garden with all
information relating to the knowledge of plants, trees and shrubs present in this place, through a geolocated inventory: name, family, origin, year of planting, date of flowering, hardiness, full description with photos.
The Hortus botanica application will guarantee the transmission of information to future generations, it will allow an unaccompanied visitor to instantly find the location of a plant in a garden, to carry out thematic routes (geographical origin, family of plants, …) Particularly on woody plants, it will eventually offer educational courses for schoolchildren and fun for adults.
