Doesn't seem to work for me Moto g kit Kat. I enable the app volume lock, but can still alter volumes if I squeeze the volume key (say by accident).
Doesn't work on s3 Only revert change volume back to earlier level after 30sec. Doesn't prevent accidentally loud or mute press on volume keys!
Perfect! This does exactly what I needed it to do. My vzw S5 kept automatically lowering its own volume to about 20% every time I made or received a call, or connected to Bluetooth. It was extremely frustrating because I wouldn't hear calls or texts come in! This app prevents that from happening. Love it!
Exactly what I was looking for Downloaded this because of a fault with my phone that means my volume decreases to 33% persistently and randomly, this had gotten to be a big problem especially when driving and using my phone for music, this app successfully vibrates when the fault occurs and then corrects it, I set it to timeout in 5 seconds which is more suited to my needs than the default, great app
Had to uninstall it The Samsung volume sliders pop-up covers VL's 'save or revert' pop-up and since I can't clear the Samsung pop-up fast enough to tap 'save changes' on VL's, it keeps reverting my volume level changes. Good for preventing accidental changes but not so much for intentional changes. Plus it didn't put an end to that annoying high volume warning pop-up.
Just the job I use this because the volume control on my Samsung s3 mini is too easy to alter when you pick up the phone. This solves the problem perfectly. Recommended.
The tray icon is enabled by default to prevent the system from stopping the service if there's a heavy system load. If you wish to disable the icon, the option is available under the Service Settings.
1.3.3 Update for ICS - Fixes widget dimensions.
1.3.2 ICS Update. This uses a whole new settings file for ICS users, so your settings will have to be redone. Sorry for the inconvience, but it had to happen eventually. :/
