What is the app supposed to DO? All it seems to do is give me a notification when my volume changes (e.g. switch to bluetooth or insert headphone jack), I press it, and nothing happens again. There seems to be no way to see or even delete the saved settings without uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Really opaque functionality, all I want is it to lock volume when I plug in a jack!
Soon after I downloaded this app i was illegally subscribed to Air G and KKO services. This is not the first time this scam has happened. Free software is downloaded that takes control of your phone and subscribes you to paid mobile services through your mobile provider. Cant confirm 100% that this app is responsible but there is a high likelyhood. I would sugest avoiding this app if you do not wish to be illegally subscribed to paid mobile services.
Great But Could Be Better Right now when I or some program changes the volume settings I've indicated I want to keep the same I get a pop up asking me if I want to save the changes or revert. It would be nice if there was a way to indicate that if a program changes a volume setting make revert the default setting to eliminate the popup. However, if I make a volume setting change then obviously I'd want to make that change and in that case the popup asking me to save the change would be warranted.
Great for HTC M8 Does a great job! I wish there was an option to limit VL to just the physical button. Honestly, I'm only concerned about accidentally changing the settings with my volume rocker. Or at least add an option to select which apps are excluded so it's easier to switch between different modes. For example, right now in order to set my phone to vibrate I have to disable VL, hit vibrate, enable VL, or do a workaround in Tasker. If this is addressed, will give 5 stars.
Great app ! Easy to customize and I have found no problems. The disable while on a voice call is a great option. Before I found this app, I was continually accidently changing the ring volume. I use the beep option to alert me and then revert. ADDED - The S3 i9300 has a TOO sensitive volume control button. This warns you and easily reverts.
Brilliant! Finally found the app that completely suits my requirements. I had been encountering the problem of accidentally increasing the music volume due close to max with my headphones on while grabbing on to my phone in a crowded train. The sudden increase in volume was frustrating. And the s3 is especially prone of accidental volume changes eg. When u attempt to lock phone u could end up pressing the volume button too
The tray icon is enabled by default to prevent the system from stopping the service if there's a heavy system load. If you wish to disable the icon, the option is available under the Service Settings.
1.3.3 Update for ICS - Fixes widget dimensions.
1.3.2 ICS Update. This uses a whole new settings file for ICS users, so your settings will have to be redone. Sorry for the inconvience, but it had to happen eventually. :/
