Useful stuff:
• Press the refresh icon to get a new random hipster background.
• Go to settings and customize the app as you wish. Set how often you would like to change yours automatically
• set the amount of dim, enable or disable the live effects.
• If your HD live wallpaper stand still while scrolling the home screen, enable the 'Force scrolling' option in the settings to fix this
• When you save the background, you’ll find it in the Photos/HPSTR folder

Clunky insanely buggy interface, and if u manage to get something done after a while; you will find out that 75% of the features isn't free. And after all that ... it crashed my phone ... can't remmber the last time an app done that !!! Good concept ... Yea but *THIS* is it .. it's like it's in pre-alfa stage !!!

Great app love it. I've had it for a while. Doesn't drain much battery and has a great range of photos constantly changing but version 2.2 has eaten into my ram so much. I have 4gb of ram and usually run using 1.9-2.4gb but since update I've been running with 900mb available. Please fix soon. I paid for it and hope I get a good service. When fixed 5 stars.

I hate the update, it is more beautiful than earlier and have awesome backgrounds, but now it is very very slow and it use all ram memory until the app crashes, I have 2GB of ram

Beautiful live wallpaper! But can be even better! The pictures and the filtered shapes are random yet looks soo good! I never get bored! Only one thing missing though, I wish there was a quick way of refreshing the image from the home screen. When I don't like the image (very rare cases) I don't want to go all the way into the app to refresh it. Probably a triple tap on a blank space on the home screen to refresh? Other than that this is one of my favourite apps out there! 😄

One thing missing This is a beautiful and fantastic app and i would like to rate it 5 stars but... I bought the full version about a week ago and was delighted but also disappointed. You can pick from categories for the pictures you would like but you cant look through the categories and pick individual pictures. Some of the pictures i would love to favourite or save for later. Another thing that would be good but am not as fussed about is using your own photos.

Misses one thing! The app and what it does is great, but either I haven't found the option an/or you need the pro version, but I want to use my own images. I'd gladly buy the full version if it unlocked the option to use your own images from your own gallery. Now it's too random and not really personalized even if I would buy the pro version.

Some of the generated wallpapers are gorgeous! I'd love to save them for later, as I have it set to auto rotate every 8 hrs. I know you can already do this to some extend in the form of an exported image... but in doing so, you will unfortunately lose the separate layer data - and the result isn't nearly as awesome. It would be great if you could allow users to save the actual wallpaper data and keep it in a 'Favourites' folder for later. Perhaps even allow rotating between Favourites only? Cheers

Haven't paid for an app in a long time till now Awesome app. Emailed devs about a problem I had and replied in a timely manner. Love the ability to choose sources, however, the only decent sources are from reddit. Would love to see the ability to add more than three sources and more sources in general. The pics from 500 are so annoying with the text at the bottom.

Great App, but... I love the great aesthetic that this app offers, but the fact that you can't save certain wallpapers and go back to them, and on top of that everytime I try to go into settings the app closes on me. This is making me regret the 2.50 I spent for the pro membership. Please fix this soon.

Nice app. Pretty good app. Does what it says. Had to take off a star because it stops auto updating the wallpaper after a while and I can't figure out why (I have it set to update every for hours). Not sure if it's because the app gets an update in the play store or if it's just a glitch. But I have to go into the app from time to time to refresh the wallpaper, then it starts working again.

Best wallpaper app ever!! I love this wallpaper app!! This is the best wallpaper I have ever come across, very original and unique in its own way. It would be awesome if they add in a few more categories. Also the wallpapers are very clean crisp and high quality images. There's no blur which is amazing.

Good but 2 things missing. It updates wallpaper only one when I click refresh button in the app. When I didn't like wallpaper I clicked again but it doesn't change second time. I had to go home screen and double click again. It should be some type of bug. (this was first) second one is we need a widget to change wallpaper from home page.

I found out about HPSTR a while back, and in the meantime, I have switched phones twice. However, this app has followed me across my last three devices, because it provides magnificent wallpapers to my phone. Although I don't use the custom shapes overlay, I think they are a nice addition, taking the app's level of customization even further. My sole observation — and the one that prevents me from giving this app 5 stars — is the fact that, in some galleries (like City and Architecture, for instance), photos are not in HQ and have a text overlay with the photo's URL (probably because they're taken from 500px), which kinda limits the user's choices if he wants a clean, HD wallpaper for his phone.

Much cooler than thought.. If your looking for a changing walpaper--Get it I got the app and was at first irritated by the shape overlay on the pictures..I thought why dont they just put the raw image up. I left the app run for a few days and I started to really enjoy them. Every few days I get one that really just blows me away with the randomness. ... I have saved a few images and I now look forward to what it will do next.. Great job developers.

Great Wallpaper! I loved this application but I choose to use something else for a while. I came back and everything changed. I used to be able to see the circle spin as it changed Wallpaper but now it doesn't even change my Wallpaper even if I put it on automatic. Please fix otherwise great app.

Nice app! But crashes when I click settings on HTC One M8 I like not thinking and choosing wallpapers and just have it changed randomly through this app. But its been over a year since the app has been crashing everytime I clicked on settings. Please fix this.

Needs improvement. Dropping my rating down from its original three to two. It doesn't always change the wallpaper like it's supposed to without me having to manually go into the settings and refreshing the wallpaper. That's pretty annoying and, topped with the oversight of not allowing custom wallpapers, I can't say that I'm satisfied with this live wallpaper. Awesome idea, poor execution.

Gives that refresh I needed. Wish you could favorite certain walls and then go back to them later. A slight bit of battery drain noticeable. Otherwise still my daily wallpaper.

Xperia SP Nice images but usually after closing any apps the wallpaper is gone and the background is black causing me to open your app to relaunch the wallpaper. Happens several times a day so I have uninstalled it for now.

Things to add on Please try to make a option where you could upload your own photo, the selection of photo from the default library is not that good and very limited. Otherwise the visual effect and other features are amazing.

there's no how to use buttons. So I'm trying to figure out how to use it. I would like the app a lot better if I could pick my own wallpaper. If you can I haven't figured it out yet. Kinda mad I paid almost 3 bucks for it.

It crashes all the time It was working fine but now anytime I access settings the app crashes. Wallpapers are very nice but without the ability to change some settings the app is not that great. I paid to enable the extra features on my s6 edge.

I am very happy w/ this app, it's beautiful and elegantly designed. I plan on buying the pro version once I confirm my identity & account info to the Big G (AGAIN - why, Google bot algorithms? Why won't you trust me? Over 13 yrs of collcting my data - this is how you treat me? But ... I digress.) I've encountered one small issue that a few other reviewers noted. After having the app for a few weeks or so, I will notice that it's stopped auto-refreshing. This is easily fixed by going into the app settings & changing the refresh rate, but that's really a small thing to me. Otherwise, I love these wallpapers, they're awesome images 90% of the time or better, and the customizing options are great - not too much that I will mess with it for hours, but not too few that I'm bored with it. I don't care about using my own photos, there's photo editing apps that can do similar things to my photos. I love that I get new cool pictures for a day (or twice a day) and then get a NEW cool picture - HPSTR makes me happy.

Good idea The idea is great but does not place wallpaper on lockscreen. 5 stars figured it out. You need to set it as a live wallpaper in your phone settings for both screens instead of placing it as wallpaper from the app itself.

Have been using this for like a year (bought it). As buggy as it was (crashes a lot in settings), and still no option to save wallpaper... Developers pls. I don't think it is impossible. But damn walpapers look good.

Hate the name, love the app! The wallpapers are gorgeous and speaking as someone who was constantly changing theirs, the hourly refresh option is a godsend. My phone rarely looks the same any time I open it, which soothes both my OCD and ADHD tendencies quite well. 😊

Keeps crashing Was a very good app with amazing wallpapers, however it now only gives a black background, and upon pressing the settings tab, it says HPSTR has stopped working. Please fix it.

Solid App. Few suggestions. Works as it should, but I'm reluctant to buy pro without a few added features. I would like to see blur and black and white options for the entire image, not the shape area. Similar to Muzei or Firepaper...Prefer a heavy blur for use with NSFW photos.
