If it isn't broken don't fix it I love the app, it's great and all but that new colour genuinely hurts my eyes. It's too bright for me to tolerate against an already white background, I can't do it. That fact alone makes this app obsolete because I create alarms on a daily basis and I can't handle it. I'm just gonna hit uninstall and let it go back to the first version, which I actually kind of liked.
Fiddly Check boxes are now way too small! I used to toggle these on and off easily but now most of the time when I try to select or deselect an alarm I miss the tiny target area and it opens up the alarm options. Very frustrating. After a few weeks of putting up with it I'm now looking for another alarm :(
I use this a lot. Up until now it's been really good. However the recent change of colour is quite horrible. I really appreciated the toned down sober tones that were used before. The new neon ones just look childish and out of place. If you insist on keeping them, could you please add an option so we can change them ourselves?
Going to use a normal alarm clock from now on Alarm clocks don't work..... They just don't, this seems to be the Achilles heel of HTC as all my HTC devices seem to have a problem with this. My Samsung devices on the other hand never had this issue..... Back to Samsung I guess. HTC what have you done? You just went from Hero to Zero and it all went so fast.......
Bad choice of don't colour for timer The new logo for the app is bad but I can tolerate that. What I cannot tolerate is the awful choice of colour for the numbers in the timer tab and the checkboxes in the alarm tab. This lime green colour is harsh on the eyes and does not provide good contrast against the white background against which they are set, decreasing legibility. Disappointing coming from a company that is supposed to be design conscious.
UI Much Worse The app was fine until this update. Lime green on white is harsh especially on the alarm app that's usually used in low light. The checkbox targets are also harder to activate than before which is annoying for people with variable schedules.
- New alarms are set to "Do not repeat" by default
