Going to use a normal alarm clock from now on Alarm clocks don't work..... They just don't, this seems to be the Achilles heel of HTC as all my HTC devices seem to have a problem with this. My Samsung devices on the other hand never had this issue..... Back to Samsung I guess. HTC what have you done? You just went from Hero to Zero and it all went so fast.......
Fiddly Check boxes are now way too small! I used to toggle these on and off easily but now most of the time when I try to select or deselect an alarm I miss the tiny target area and it opens up the alarm options. Very frustrating. After a few weeks of putting up with it I'm now looking for another alarm :(
Buggy Why can't they fix major bug rather than focusing on standard UI. For instance, if the alarm goes off and you're in a call you cannot turn the alarm off. Been happening on my first M7 and still on year old M9. HTC makes junk software/QA now.
Bad choice of don't colour for timer The new logo for the app is bad but I can tolerate that. What I cannot tolerate is the awful choice of colour for the numbers in the timer tab and the checkboxes in the alarm tab. This lime green colour is harsh on the eyes and does not provide good contrast against the white background against which they are set, decreasing legibility. Disappointing coming from a company that is supposed to be design conscious.
If it isn't broken don't fix it I love the app, it's great and all but that new colour genuinely hurts my eyes. It's too bright for me to tolerate against an already white background, I can't do it. That fact alone makes this app obsolete because I create alarms on a daily basis and I can't handle it. I'm just gonna hit uninstall and let it go back to the first version, which I actually kind of liked.
Bright Lime Green????? Ugh OK, of course a 1-star rating for color is harsh, but it's a clock app. How hard is this? And why is it in need of updating? Seriously, you can't perfect a clock app by now? Well, in truth, it was just about perfect, before today. Then people who shouldn't EVER be allowed to dress themselves, let alone choose colors, decided that when we're about to turn out the lights and go to sleep, we should be slapped awake and made nauseous by a hideously bright, INTENSELY BRIGHT, gaudy, lime green color scheme. UGH!
- New alarms are set to "Do not repeat" by default
