Eh I waited two years for this app and the wait was not worth it. It's the same annoying login as their website. If you're on your desktop its alright but its terribly annoying on a mobile device. Also, it doesn't show any pending charges on credit accounts or upcoming credits on checking/savings accounts. Not surprised, this bank has been behind and still refuses to catch up.
Unpleasant to use This app is an example of both bad UX and UI. Really dislike using it as even the simplest operation is very hard to do. Plus the constant loading... The main functionality I'd expect from a banking app would be notifications. Do you plan on adding those?
Worst online banking app possible! The service is appalling I have been trying to log in for hours on end but servers are always down. Online banking is supposedly the easiest banking method, is this really the case? Get this sorted
AAAAAGGGHHH, I cannot access my account anymore, timed out constantly. Customer service tells me to use my laptop, cannot access there either. & yes, I'm using the correct passwords. Help, will change bank if I don't get a response. Piece of crap.
Currently running HSBC app on Samsung Tab 3 Android 4.2.2 but this latest ver suddenly not compatible with this device. App is installed and prompting me to update before January 1st but I cannot. HSBC please fix asap. My tablet is what I use to access online banking...via the HSBC app. There is no good reason to stop support for Samsung tablet users, especially when the Android version is supported.
Buffering alot Iv had this app a while now. I was forced into internet banking after my local bank closed. It sometimes wont connect, buffering constantly. Its very frustrating. Updated my fone yesterday, omg, down loaded the app again and it didnt recognise any of my passwords, memorable places etc. Ended up on the fone to hsbc for 50mins while they tried to help. Eventually, sorted, but have come to log on to check something,and yes youve guessed it, it wont connect to my router. Had to use my laptop.
Fix the bug please Everytime I log out and then log back in later, the app says: "....you have been away too long....please sign in again". Even though I had properly signed out previously. It then takes several further sign in attempts to get into my account. Please fix this.
