SOS Huánuco – Emergency Alert System for the City of Huánuco

SOS Huánuco is an official mobile application launched by the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco to improve citizen security and guarantee quick and live responses to emergencies within the city. This government app allows users to send SOS alerts directly to local authorities and Control Room, helping to reduce response time and improve public safety with a Real-Time Monitoring System. Main features:

Instant Emergency Alerts: Activate the SOS event with the SOS button to immediately notify local authorities and the Control Room of the city of Huánuco. You will only be able to activate SOS events within the city of Huánuco.

Real-Time Tracking: Your precise location is shared with the Control Room when you activate the SOS mode/event, allowing for a quick response. The Control Room then assigns agents to rescue you.

Secure registration and login: Register and log in securely using Google authentication. Verify your phone number with an OTP for added security.

Monitoring Center: The Emergency Control Room can monitor SOS alert events triggered by users and track incidents in real time, ensuring rapid deployment of assistance and security agents.

User Profile: Create and manage your personal profile with essential contact details to assist responders during an emergency (SOS event mode active).

Please note:
When the control room resolves the SOS event or the user disables the SOS event, the live location will no longer be shared and the control room will no longer be able to see your location.
This means that your live location is only shared when SOS mode is active.
When SOS mode is disabled or turned off, location will not be shared.
During normal times, location sharing will not occur.
