June 24th 2017: It seems you people cannot leave well enough alone. previously I was able to view comments sections now when I click comment all it does is spin around looks like it's loading doesn't load and returns to a white screen. have you people ever heard of the engineers saying if it isn't broken don't fix it? in March I had the same problem. now with your new and improved or not so improved application I still can't see the comment section I can't even comment in the comments section. so I will continue to give this a one-star I wish I could give it to Stars more right now it doesn't work.
Ever since the last update, a lot of my sections have gone missing - and seem to no longer exist so I can't even add them back. There are only 9 sections to choose from (British Columbia and Alberta being two of them..... hello? that's pretty random). Clearly something is off. Please fix!!
So Huffpost know what best for us, eh! All my prevision selections are gone since the update and not even available to add back. Are we living in Animal Farm/1984 type of world now?
New format has WAY TOO MANY ADS! It is frustrating to use and I will be going elsewhere if they don't fix this soon. It used to be my main source of news. Now I feel manipulated every time I open it because of the deluge of ads.
After reading an article from last year in HuffPost that claimed Otto Warmbier got what he deserved in North Korea for being white, I have decided that I want nothing to do with this race-bating trash. You people are disgusting.
The pop up audio ads make reading articles from this app totally annoying. You can't even watch a video embedded in the article without an audio ad. Or maybe it's a video ad, I can find it to silence it!
We have introduced a number of different story card layouts that not only give the app a fresher, bolder feel, but also make it easier for the user to discern which stories are leading the news cycle. We’ve also added new sections to the front page that highlight the varied content our app offers, including video, a new “What’s Hot” section that spotlights entertainment and pop culture news and a trending news section. These updates make the app feel more consumable and intuitive to navigate.
Follow the news you choose. Read breaking stories from the world’s best sources.
