Review from Joe Ragno
One star. I'm amazed that this app has been allowed to not work for this long. Droid 4. No stories have loaded for weeks. Garbage.
Ever since the last update, a lot of my sections have gone missing - and seem to no longer exist so I can't even add them back. There are only 9 sections to choose from (British Columbia and Alberta being two of them..... hello? that's pretty random). Clearly something is off. Please fix!!
So Huffpost know what best for us, eh! All my prevision selections are gone since the update and not even available to add back. Are we living in Animal Farm/1984 type of world now?
After reading an article from last year in HuffPost that claimed Otto Warmbier got what he deserved in North Korea for being white, I have decided that I want nothing to do with this race-bating trash. You people are disgusting.
Since last update this app has operated poorly. Regular starts in off line mode for no reason. Links to stories go to places other than the story. Number of stories greatly reduced. I used to read from this app every day, but now it is too frustrating to even use the app.
Excellent coverage of a wide assortment of stories from around the world. Is it biased toward the liberal view? Of course it is but, we need that to counter balance the negative conservative propaganda flooding the market.
Layout is good with clear grouping for easy search and read. However, somehow certain article was not so easy to read & follow e.g. Comey's testimony.. there were too much side tracking info, and the live commentary was just not so easy or timely to follow
We have introduced a number of different story card layouts that not only give the app a fresher, bolder feel, but also make it easier for the user to discern which stories are leading the news cycle. We’ve also added new sections to the front page that highlight the varied content our app offers, including video, a new “What’s Hot” section that spotlights entertainment and pop culture news and a trending news section. These updates make the app feel more consumable and intuitive to navigate.
