About Tejani Brothers: Shabbir and Abbas were born in Peterborough, UK. Inspired by their mother, they both began reciting nawhas, masiyahs and qasidahs from the tender age of 2. Their passion for this has always been ever-present from this moment on.
In a bid to try and help all the azadars and recitors around the world they created a unique website, www.nawhas.com, which contains over 1000 kalaam of current and old recitors. This website is accessible from all around the world and recieves millions of hits yearly.
In 2004 the two brothers recorded their first nawha album "Aaj bhi Shabbir (as) ko rota hai ye sara jahaan" with the encouragement of their friends and family. This album was the first of many. Alhumdulilah with the grace of Allah (swt), they hope to continue this mission for as long as they live.
Since 2007, they have been solely composing their own tracks and writing kalaam by themselves. With the help of their younger sister, Zainab, they also arrange and concieve ideas as well as provide backing vocals to their own tracks. They have been invited to several places all over the world to partake in aza of Imam Hussain (as).
