Bought a brand new galaxy note 8 Looked up 3s VoLTE and told i cant use it as i dont have an iPhone and didnt buy my phone from 3 so directed here to this app which isnt 4g supervoice 😤
Part 1 Had problems initially but these were solved when I opened the port on my router to allow the inbound traffic through. Now, apart from the odd WiFi drop off the app works very well and reliably. I'm happy. Part 2! British Telecom updated my fibre broadband and I've had problems with this app since. It seems the App is using IPv6 rather than IPv4 and it now rarely works on my Oreo Nexus 6p. Inbound calls are silent when answered and outbound calls never work the first time, only on redialing 30 seconds later do they connect. It might be I've a firewall problem on my Dreytek Vigor router but with no information available anywhere it's difficult to fault find. Any chance of some tech info as to how this app works and connects so I'll be able to fathom what's going wrong. Thanks! Chris
Whilst I try and use the app for when I have no reception, I keep forgetting that I need to go into it to see if I've got new texts or missed calls. For me to score this app higher, it'd definitely would have to be synced with the main incoming/missed/outgoing calls and same for texts. On multiple occasions I have not remembered too check this app and, therefore, not seen missed calls/voicemails /texts. Other than that, a good app to use when there's no reception but WiFi is available. Just hope that you're not as busy and forgetful as I am!
3 intouch Really easy to set up & use. Really handy when no signal and need to keep on touch with your mobile number. Excellent app. Thank you for your reply it means alot to know that you guys are watching and reading the reviews it makes them worth doing. I love this app it has just saved my weekend !! I am somewhere with no signal and am waiting for a call ( from 3 mobile) about a contract phone. I didn't think that I was going to be able to recieve the call but now thanks to this app I can.
1. Only available on the phone with a three SIM, not a tablet. 2 Have to click On for the WiFi hotspot being used Why important? I am moving from O2 which has TUGO which is similar in providing calls ove WiFi and that allows me to use my tablet to make and receive calls. Why do I want to do this? Because it means I can use the tablet like I would use an extension to a landline, I can leave the mobile in another room or pocket and still use it elsewhere. Easy enough for the app on another device to be securely registered, after all they will not allow a rooted phone. And why not use by default the WiFi the device is connected to, instead of having to select it from a list and turn it On?
Greatly improved Much improved since I tried this previously. Calls and texts work very well over WiFi. This app is now a great benefit of using 3. Hope it allows me to make calls free over WiFi when abroad! Some minor improvements would get this 5 stars... 1. Wish it synced incoming texts and missed call list with the native apps. I don't like having to look in two places. 2. Show the number of new unread messages on its icon. 3. Swipe to accept incoming call uses the opposite swipe direction to native app.
Bug fixes and minor improvements.
