Used to love this I used to be able to use this app all of the time as I have no signal at my house whatsoever. Now for some strange reason it does not continue through the app and instead tries to ring from my actual phone. Why? I do not know. As if I had signal I would call through my phone myself. What is the point in this app now? Would have given 5 stars if it actually worked.
Needs to be more reliable Audio in calls can be choppy and this is with full strength wifi and phone is in sight of the wireless access point.. Sometimes other person cannot hear you, doesn't seem to reconnect when the enabled wifi is in range. Therefore you have to open the app and wait for the red bar to disappear. Better Integration with the devices default dialing and messaging apps would be nice too
Not connecting to wi-fi despite update No connection, keep getting mobile data must be allowed message. I'm in a poor 3 reception area & this is supposed to correct this. It now turns out that I need to have a 3 data connection to confirm I am legit. It does seem to work now. Poor system not explained when downloading.
Gets you out of a jam, sometimes! Very good idea but lacks reliability. After a minute or so it disconnects or crashes. OK for a quick call only. Three's response was that I needed to upgrade to a better phone, I'm running a fairly high end 8 core phone, can't really upgrade much!
Certain Convenience It is an advantage that when my normal mobile service is unavailable, due to location or poor signal strength, I can resume normal service with a simple Wi-Fi connection. Whether it is to receive calls and texts, or to send them, it is nothing but a plus to do this as simply as happens with this software.
Good but... It is good to have as working in hospitals signal is often poor. But it does seem to drain the battery very quickly. Also texts sent via the app do not appear in the usual sms app so it can be hard keeping up with conversations.
Bug fixes and minor improvements.
