This app was OK until I switched to android 5.1.1 with heads up notifications - now all the time I see the big notification all over my main screen. There needs to be some way to configure what notifications get displayed. In android I can force them to be hidden - but then when there is an incoming call I can't answer it. I'm going to try a 3rd party app to start and stop this app when I am on my home network!
Since I've updated software in my phone to android 5.1.1 This app become useless, can't receive or make phone calls via app. But before was OK so I would say be patient until we get some app update. And one more thing messages appears without name - just sender number so bit confusing.
Ruined my life I have just arrived on offshore platform where I will stay 4 weeks. I have only wifi here. No mobile signal. I was hoping to be in touch with my family. The first day I arrived the app asked to be reactivated using Mobile signal. I am 300miles away from any mobile signal for next 4 weeks.
Simply doesn't work for me On my Archos Helios 5+ on Android 5 I can make and receive calls but the callers can't hear me and I can barely hear them.
Doesn't do it's primary job. I first installed it over a year ago but sound quality was so poor that I had to uninstall it. I've re-tried it twice since, expecting that development would have improved this but sadly it has not. Other VOIP apps work fine from my phone so it is not my phone or WAN connection causing the issue.
Limited uses Works fine for texts, phone calls are pointless as the other person can never hear me. Constant notification showing 'WiFi calling ready' is also unnecessary
We are continually updating the app and listening to our customers feedback to ensure we are identifying issues and looking for solutions. We have fixed a number of issues within this version to improve the experience for our customers; premature App deactivations and crash problems.
