Podcasts have spoiled me for being able to listen to news and analysis while I do other things, like dishes or cooking. This app makes the whole of the written internet into something like bare-bones podcast episodes. It could use some UI improvements, but it's so useful I'm still happy to have bought the paid version.
UPD: Hi, I've been wondering whether there will be an alternative backing-up option soon, since Dropbox is out now? I'm about to factory reset my phone, would've been great to do without slow manual readjusting of every setting (colors, speed, pausing, etc.), when I'm reinstalling it after :) [Review: Combined with Pocket (and other apps), Voice Read Aloud is the stuff of EPICNESS. You guys rock! Thank you for the awesome app that seriously gives us the best tts-using experience on Android market and also beautifully fills in for Pocket/Flipboard/etc where they lack in the "reading aloud" department. Was my easiest purchase on Android.]
Grt app...... This app is very helpful for me..... I use it daily I have a one question..... If I purchase this app..... But due some reason in future if I have to change my phone or factory reset my phone than..... Can I install my purchased app or I have to pay again? This app continuesly misread superscript and subscript letters, unable to identify and misread bullet points and misread content of tables also.
First class text to speech App! One of the best I've used, excellent user interface and functions, makes OTG learning and info review a breeze. Only thing missing is functional in-line editing of text, present editing function very clumsy and buggy. 5+ Stars,Two thumbs waaay up!!
Great app. Does everything advertised, and more. Only criticism: the tutorial available through the app appears slightly out of date. But then, most apps don't come with tutorials even half as good as this. And I guess paying £9 just to remove adds is quite steep. I might consider paying, if I get extra features in return. Otherwise I'm reluctant to pay more than £2 or £3 to remove adds for any app.
It works great when reading my fan fiction on the go, just wish there was a way to have it say certain words correctly. And it tends to cut off and I have to find where and continue again.
