By installing the app you effectively kill the native Hotspot setup. You can no longer use Hotspot for anything else but the car. Which is bad. Very bad.
The concept is good but execution poor. Whilst linking it to the car works automatically (it detects the Bluetooth connectivity with the car, turns on the WiFi hot-spot and shares your Internet connection) the process is slow and typically it can take several minutes for the built in Hyundai SatNav to pick up traffic or other live services. Leaving the car turns off the hot spot but doesn't always turn the WiFi back on, which can lead to unaccessary 4G data usage. I haven’t had any problems with the native hot-spot setup as a result of the app which has been reported by other users, however I am on Nougat so this potentially could be the result of an older OS
I'm not seeing any of the niggles others are having. It seems to connect pretty fast and as I never use my phone as a hotspot normally, I'm not seeing any negative issues. Using Tuscon 2016 and a OnePlus 3
Worked great until Android 7.1.1 came along. Doesn't automatically connect to the car WiFi as previous 7.1 When it works it's has good features.
This App prevents me from using my hotspot when not in the car. Uninstalled and hotspot worked as normal so staying uninstalled.
Works perfectly .. no more manually turning on hot spot in car..leave car and auto hot spot turns off..
