About this app

The MyHyundai with Bluelink app allows you to access a suite of remote services for your connected vehicle like starting your vehicle, checking the vehicle status, scheduling a charge, and more. The app also features diagnostics tools, roadside assistance, and owner resources.

Bluelink technology enables and empowers you while you are on the go, giving you access to your Bluelink features from your office, at home, or just about anywhere.

Access the app with your user email, password, and PIN to take advantage of Bluelink’s features. Log in and send commands conveniently using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition). An active Bluelink subscription is required to use Bluelink features in the app. To enroll, please contact your dealer or at

Many features are missing in the Canadian app that are standard basic things in the US version. In the US there are basic features like being able to invite your spouse to use the app with their own credentials, or setting a profile image for use in cars with profiles in the infotainment console. These features are unavailable in Canada. It absolutely blows my mind that features as basic as this aren't available here when they're advertised IN THE CAR, and in the app itself.

Not ready for prime time. Slow. Buggy. List of nearby charging stations is cryptic. Says battery charge is complete when it shows that the battery is only partially charged. Needs a lot of work to clean it up. Driver 2 has to have their own Hyundai in order to register in the app. Lock doors on shift doesn't work going from Park to Drive; only works when transmission changes from 1st to 2nd gear. Battery only range is the same range as battery and fuel range etc. etc.

Does what it advertises, layout and access to certain functions is a bit convoluted. Could easily be cleaned up like the Tesla app. Didn't find a way to get rid of the 'doors unlocked' warning which comes way too often when you have the car at home and leave it unlocked.
