My experience with MOVO was top of the line. The app is well made. The idea is very intuitive. The team working behind the app are just... Wow. A+ customer service and a wonderful product. If your looking for free mobil banking and modernized, safe & secure account handling this is the ones to go with. I can't recommend them enough. For the negative reviews on here, I don't get it. The MOVO team always responded to me quickly if I had questions. They ask a few questions to verify your identity and it seems some have had problems with that. Of this is the case, call them up or email theM. THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU!
Don't have a big problem with the functionality itself, seems like a great app and service. My gripe is that the description illustrates you can load it with venmo when in actuality you can't. Should probably update that it isn't possible, as that's eat sold me on the app in the first place. Will update my review as I use it further.
DO NOT USE! I called yesterday before heading out of town, as I could not figure out where in the house I had put my debit card. All I wanted to know was could i get another card shipped to my destination so i wouldn't miss my flight. They said no and it would take 5 to 10 days to ship a card to my current address only. I told them DO NOT CANCEL THE CARD as I have Bill payments coming thru (by the way, the customer service idiot said "okay, just call us back if you need to cancel it"). What did they do? They cancelled the freaking card!!! Now I have declined payments and I can't purchase the cat carriers for my return flight. This is a complete mess. This is not the first issue I've had worth them. I hate this company.
Any app that requires me to put in my SSN is not one that I would like to have. Gathering all of my other information and then asking for my SSN seems kinda sketchy to me for an app. There are many options out there for prepaid cards that are re-loadable and I don't need to give that information.
I just created a login amd a passwork last nite, come the morning; now i cant even login at all. Not a good app
Don't like being asked for my social security number after I've entered a ton of personal information already. Should be upfront about asking for that first!
