it's Okay... needs true coding, like being able to code the CCC unit. I had mine repaired and it needs coding to hear the sound, add back Bluetooth and Sat radio option. it's not very useful right now. *update* getting better every update. Continue the good work
I bought the app and the Bluetooth OBD for a total of $118, and the app is very confusing and often doesn't connect. And recently I asked Carly customer support if the battery registration is supported for the X3 F25, and I've gotten only confusing answers. And they have two web pages that say registration is supported, but other pages say it's not supported. (Note registration is needed when you buy a new battery, otherwise pay the dealer $200.)
Need to enable bluetooth This app does not provide enabling bluetooth music option in my 335i...what a waste of time....with just that option this would've been a far better app...
Worked flawlessly first time on a 2012 X5 E70, but second time out on a 2004 E60 and then on a 2007 E61, I had a lot of problems with "unstable connection" messages and failed coding attempts. I need to try it again in the E70 to see if it is the car or the device or App, or even my phone (Galaxy Note 4) at fault. They seem to have made the app fairly secure, in that it won't continue if the connection is unstable and it is reassuring to know that it creates a backup before making any changes, although I haven't tested this yet. I have sent session logs for my troublesome attempts and hopefully the Carly team can get to the bottom of the problem and I can come back and add more to my review. Conclusion so far: Potentially very good if it wasn't for the stability issues.
Great product, would be five stars but there's no NBT Coding yet and no reply to my mail regarding the progress of having it 😕
Must have for any bmw enthusiasts
