It was working flawlessly, until latest update of the system on my One Plus 3T (Oreo 8.0.0, Oxygen update from 5.0 => 5.0.1). Now the Pebble notification remains visible. I tried uninstalling, rebooting with all settings variations.. :-( Any suggestions ? Edit: I realized notification is not visible in notification area, but only Pebble small icon is now visible in status bar, which is not that bad (I'm even not sure if it was visible before the update). Rating again 5 Stars ;-) Thank you!
I have a Google pixel XL and was just upgraded to 8.1. Now this app doesn't work. Tried uninstalling, re-installing, restarting, toggling on/off, etc. but to no avail. Pebble notification persistent.UPDATE: Okay now it is working! Don't know exactly what changed maybe tried too much over a short period of time.
Latest version is crashing Edit: The crashes kept going. So I tried rebooting the phone. And that was a success! But this tool is way better than showing that annoying notifications! Thank you for that 😊
Works great but stops after each reboot. I have to open the app and turn "hide all apps" on and off again to make it work again. But still huge thanks for making this app, the constant notifications were so annoying. Edit: Thanks for the quick reply. Toggling that switch fixed it, I should have read first before complaining I guess.
I'm just a bit concerned that when you give permission to the app, it lets you read our messages that we receive. Can I ask what relevance that has in hiding the persistent notification. I might just be being paranoid haha
May I ask as to why this app needs permission to read all of my incoming text messages? That seems extremely fishy. If explained I will leave a higher rating. But I fail to see how having access to my incoming text messages is necessary...
