Great system, but buggy. There's a game breaking bug in Hearkenwold where after certain battles all the external triggers turn off (can't exit the area, interact with npcs, have encounters etc). Happens with the mountain trolls and the imp, and ever the skeleton battle following Wrathack.
It brings back much needed memories. Just one problem it freezes up where no npc's react to you and you can not enter or exit anywhere. Plus the time/day counter stops also. Please fix this is to Great of a story to give up on!
Some bad bugs. Tried to move one character to a normal square and they just died, for example. UI could be massively improved, too. The font combined with the low pixel count looks awful and is difficult to read. This especially hits hard when a new player wants to see how the game works but is faced with an ugly wall of text in the guides. The character portraits also look off as they're very inconsistent in style. The hit rate is also poor. It's very unsatisfying when a player's characters constantly miss their attacks. This drags down the strategy aspect of the game in favour of luck. So Polish the UI, make it look better (TEXT especially) and bust the bugs. Maybe a tutorial section could also be beneficial.
Some bugs, somethings I did not enjoy. Like during lvl up I backed out of the screen by accident and could not get back to spend the point. No load option on save screen, or in game at all. Tried to move my pc and death occurred for no apparent reason. Could still move dead pc and attack. Just feel like it could of been a good game but a lot farther to go before that. Let me know if you guys have a more polished game like this. I may try that one.
First module has lots of narrow hallways and spiders, so you end up trapped and only the first character in the line can act. Very frustrating.
It's got some issues, yes, but it's great having the engine on Android, and I look forward to it improving!
A couple of small bug fixes and included updated version of The Elderin Stone (v7)
