It works as described. Weakly detects ferrous metals only as they disrupt the earth's magnetic field. As help file says, will not detect non-ferrous metals like aluminum. Very good at detecting magnets and can be set to vibrate for "high" levels. I am liking what this app developer has to offer.
Works as advertised on Samsung S5 Very useful app I am a radio amateur and this has proved useful on several occasions. It detects electrical fields in non ferrous metals like copper wire too- very handy.
It'd be interesting if the data could be linked with global users to get an overview of Earth's magnetic field in different locations. But I suppose most phone magnetometer's don't provide very accurate data though it still might be interesting.
People please you need to get this. this dam thing really do work. 👍 go in the app. store an get it right now. i love it. thanks. This has to be one of the best thing i ever had. it good. it great.its the best of the best. ps no lie it really work.two thum up on this one. 👍 👍. thank you.
Functions OK Pesty "Rate Me!" demands before I even start using it make me kinda stabby. Works OK otherwise...
Worked great! Downloaded it to try and find our property line stake...we dug a hole where I got the highest reading. And it was actually dead on! The metal stake was 6 inches under ground too! (My reading was around 70 with my phone laying on the grass-above the stake & 6 inces of dirt) Definitely recommend this app!

0.7.0 - Added compass-like arrow to point the source of the magnetic field (or at least try to...). Optimization changes. Tutorial (Android 4.0+) when app is first launched. Ads.
Used for vibration when level has reached a set threshold.
Used to save .csv records to SD card.
