Seems to be everything it says it is. It was a little disconcerting to be limited to two servers during the trial, so I'll just have to take other's word that this all runs together well. It is nice to be able to develop on the tablet, anywhere, anytime, and not need to be connected to any network. One just has to remember to keep current on their version control.
Best Server application I tried several different Android server applications, this is by far the best. The customization options make this server super powerful. I had some issue in the beginning, but solve them with the tools option under the server instance. I did a clean and reset under tools. This solved the problem of the server not available even though it said it was running. This may have been a problem related to having other server applications installed. Either way the Ice Cold team was there and ready to help.
I bought this app and is working quite well until now. One drawback is that the servers bundled are a king of old. I would like to send mail from php but the mail() function is not working. Can you give me a hint about how to configure PHP in order to be able to send mail?
Good bundle, some problems though This is a very good bundle for web development and is more stable so far than others I tried. The configuration files should be (more) modifiable from within the app. You will need root for extra configuration, or you'll lose the connection between settings and configuration. Also in this compilation, PHP lacks some options, esp. to access external content (I'm running wordpress and this needs to "call home" for updates/plugins/themes etc.) MySQL monitor is an extremely basic tool, there are better ones the dev could include. 4 stars for stability, -1 star for lack of server configuration ease and basic tools.
Have to pay to use Should be free. I will increase the rating if it becomes free. Else 1 star. Taking open source software and selling it is bad, very bad
(orig) Crashes. (new) Flawless. Previously, this app would crash after a few page loads; however, I determined that the problem was entirely on my end. Works perfectly out-of-the-box. I had to purchase the upgrade at the end of the trial period. Well worth it.
