About this app

Memorize anything with AnkiDroid!

AnkiDroid lets you learn flashcards very efficiently by showing them just before you would forget. It is fully compatible with the spaced repetition software Anki (including synchronization), which is available for Windows/Mac/Linux/ChromeOS.

Study all sorts of things wherever and whenever you want. Make good use of idle times on bus trips, in supermarket queues or any other waiting situation!

I like the app and idea of it, but it needs to be much more intuitive to use, I can look up information on how to use the app fine but would prefer to have clearer labels like a pencil icon on a deck to edit it. Make it easier to edit decks, provide the option to flip the front of back of the cards in the app when studying, and maybe down the line add features like study games. Benefits though, the app is very light weight, native dark mode is nice, and customization is excellent.

I downloaded the app version because I often use the desktop one to study for an upcoming exam in April. Even though this one is functionally just as great, it doesn't sync correctly like there's a huge discrepancy between new cards and due cards for each of my decks. I might keep it for the smaller decks, the ones that are more manageable, but definitely not for my larger, main decks.

Hi, you might be using different schedulers each other. If Desktop's [V3 scheduler] is disabled, please check AnkiDroid's [Preferences] -> [Advanced] -> [V2 scheduler] is enabled. If Desktop's V3 is enabled, you might want to try our test version: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.16alpha92 and enable [Use the new back end].

Love whiteboard feature. Dark mode is always nice. The UI is not good:▫️Default options are "front" & "back", while I think "question" & "answer(s)" are easier to understand.▫️Menu is cluttered, icons for its options are hidden unless set to be always on. This is an issue since going by default, you can't tell which icon does what.▫️The statistics are intimidating to look at, no graphs just a bloat load of numbers.▫️Can't review without timers. Can't continuously review after finishing deck.
