Tem Kɩ́mankʊ́

--- Description is here. Installation instructions are below. ---

With this keyboard installed you can easily type in Tem, English and French without switching keyboards. It's a system keyboard, so it can be used in WhatsApp, Facebook, or any application that supports Unicode (will not work for plain text messages).

Since the large majority of Tem villages are in Togo, the base keyboard is AZERTY, like French, but the keys for special Tem letters are on the top row for vowels ɛ ʊ ɩ ɔ and letters ç ɖ ŋ. On the right side of the keyboard are diacritic marks [_ ́_ ̀_ ̈ _ ̂ _] (up and down accent, umlaut, circumflex) and these are typed after any base letter.

This keyboard was developed for ABTem in collaboration with SIL International and was initially launched by the Tem Language Committee (CLTem) at the Sokodé Affaires Sociales on June 30, 2017 and has been successfully used on many phones from Android 4.4 through Android 10.

This keyboard can be used for free, but we cannot guarantee it will work with all phones, and we cannot offer technical assistance. If you have questions or comments you may write to the President of the CLTem, pres.cltem@gmail.com.

Thanks to "Ɖáwʊɖa Ɖáárʊ" who designed the keyboard layout, Michael who compiled the Android application and both Ɖáwʊɖa and Michael who put this keyboard on the Play store.
